Senior Data Engineer

1. Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines within Databricks.
2. Collaborate closely with international teams, including data scientists and architects, to develop scalable data solutions.
3. Debug complex issues in data pipelines and proactively enhance system performance and reliability.
4. Set up Databricks environments on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
5. Automate processes using CI/CD practices and infrastructure tools such as Terraform.
6. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including workflows and operational checklists.
7. Develop integration and unit tests to ensure data quality and reliability.
8. Migrate legacy data systems to Databricks, ensuring minimal disruption.
9. Participate actively in defining data governance and management strategies.

1. 5+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer.
2. Advanced proficiency in Python for developing production-grade data pipelines.
3. Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks platform.
4. Strong knowledge of Apache Spark for big data processing.
5. Familiarity with cloud environments, specifically Azure or AWS.
6. Proficiency with SQL and experience managing relational databases (MS SQL preferred).
7. Practical experience with Airflow or similar data orchestration tools.
8. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like GitLab.
9. Solid skills in debugging complex data pipeline issues.
10. Proficiency in structured documentation practices.
11. B2 level or higher proficiency in English.
12. Strong collaboration skills, ability to adapt, and eagerness to learn in an international team environment.

1. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
2. Familiarity with Elasticsearch or other vector databases.
3. Understanding of DBT (data build tool).
4. Ability to travel abroad twice a year for on-site workshops.
